Light of the Seven days
A student asked his rabbi, the Tzaddik of Berdistshuv: it says in the Gemara, “Where the righteous stand, no complete justice can stand.” The Tzaddik replied: People who discover each day new lights, which yesterday were not known to them, a man must, if he wishes to truly work, reject the flawed work of yesterday and return to the faith and start anew. But a person with no blemish, who feels in his heart that is work is corrected and complete, and he persists in it, does not see the light, and therefore lags behind those who always return to faith.
