Shavuot

To the Goren (Granary)

Fruits or vegetables (such as potatoes) are scattered in a field, half exposed and half hidden.

The participants are gathered in one place. At the instructor’s signal, the participants go to gather the potatoes, each according to his ability.

After the predetermined time is up, the instructor gathers the participants. Whoever has the largest quantity of potatoes is the winner.

The game can be made more varied by scattering different kinds and sizes of fruit or vegetables. The different kinds are announced in advance, as well as the number of points for each kind, according to size: 1) Medium 2) Small 3) etc.

At the end of the game, the instructor sums up the points for each game.

The player with the highest score of points is the winner.
