The Menorah
1897
From a short story:
Firstly one candle is lit, then one more and another one, and others. The darkness turns to night. From the youngsters, the poor of the people, the first light will emerge, and thereafter the others will join them, the lovers of justice and truth, the freedom and human advancement, the beauty, and when all the candles are alight, they will wonder and be happy about the work that has been done, you have no more important role and it brings more happiness than the role of the Shamash that serves the light.
