Restore the Original Character of the Nature Holidays
Ashdot Yaakov, 1925
Hence the secret of our zealousness for this young holiday, that we say should be celebrated as we want, and as our hearts desire. We say: What we have done with our day to day lives, so shall we do with our festivals. These earth-related values and this striving for direct contact with nature and primordial agricultural branches that fill our being over the course of the year with our creative activity and enterprise – we would like to give them appropriate expression on festivals and occasions. It is no coincidence that we have been destined to restore the festivals of nature their original character, and return the festivals of the soil to the people returning to its land.
