Here comes the fall

With promises to spread

Bringing clouds along

Letting out some sighs

Here comes the fall

Changing people's poise

 

Quietly, I hang on and guess

Between rain and sunrise

Not yet certain

What the wind of my day that's worn

Shall bring onto my day that's just born

 

Here comes the fall

Every year it's here

In a moment it befalls

Preceding our despair

And it will bring to all

Some faith within its air
