Rosh Hashana

Ora Eilat

A new year

Once again, the squill candles stand erect,

Birds are crossing the wide once more,

A crow transmits its screams -

Winds blow and the summer passes.

A last page is removed from the board,

The sweater was already taken from the shelf,

Excited parents accompany their young -

To a new year that has just now begun.

Again, a mother and child, a grandmother and grandfather,

Wishing and asking for a year of gold,

And again, with the autumn wind

Each of us carries their prayers in their heart.
