We will bless the wine during this covenant

We will uphold the covenant of Abraham and the covenant of man to fellow man

A blessing for the creation of life and the creation of man

A blessing for the covenants that have been made –

Between man and his God

Between man and society

Between man and his friend

Between man and his children

We will bless this time of birth

In which a new baby girl has entered the world

One and only

Loved and belonging

Filling it with happiness and joy

We will light a light of grace and truth

Justice and peace

For each and every generation

In the congregation of Israel and in the entire world

Blessed are you Lord of the Universe the creator of the vine
