Of old age

Please help me

Strengthen my heart

So that it doesn’t break in the battle

As the strikes of fate

Fall on me

Cover my body

So that it remains steadfast

Against the injuries of time

That are so frequent

Strengthen my pace

When I go to my daily work

And to my destinations

To wherever I shall go

And if my end

Is close

Or more distant

I will finish my life

With integrity and with honour

And without suffering
