“What has changed” on this Purim?

Both parties connected with the city of Copenhagen and Hollywood were splendid events held on a high level. Last year we succeeded in solving another problem:

Serious people from among the members claimed that the Purim parties were lacking a traditional Jewish atmosphere. Is it possible to celebrate Purim without mentioning the Book of Esther? And thus, with the entire community rejoicing, the final parade of the Scroll was presented with Mordechai mounted on an [artificial] horse!
